We spend half of our week at home and the other half we spend in the Magnolia Blvd area of Burbank, CA. There are many shops closed due to state's restrictions associated with Covid, some temporarily, some permanently. Fortunately there are still small businesses that are open and trying to stay afloat financially.

Whenever possible we patron local small business because we understand what it means to a family and in turn the community. Lily and Dad take frequent strolls along Magnolia and the surrounding streets, making friends along the way. One such friend is Tansy, a home goods store that offers a small selection of indoor and outdoor plants.

Tansy is currently open with limited capacity. When they have plants that no longer can be sold, such as the ones to the left, they leave them in their alley for anyone willing to adopt.

Now while it may not make sense for a business to put in time and energy saving all wilting plants, it doesn't mean that it these beauties are a lost cause!

Daddy and Lily are new to propagating plants, and will be chronicling their successes and failures, if any! Check back frequently to see all the progress! Here they are after just trimming back the dead branches so that new growth can thrive.
